It focuses on the child&#8217;s strengths, interests, and support needs, ensuring that their voice is heard and valued<\/p><p><strong>What does a One-Page Profile include?<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>What people like and admire about me<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>What is working for the child?<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>What is not working for the child?<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>What is important to me?<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>What is important for me? <\/strong><\/p><p><strong>How best to support me?<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>How are parents involved?<\/strong><\/p><p>Parents play an important role in creating the profile. Schools work collaboratively with parents and carers, alongside the child, to gather information about strengths, interests, and effective support strategies. The profile should be created with the child and family, rather than simply written about them<\/p><p><strong>Is a One-Page Profile the same as an IDP?<\/strong><\/p><p>No. A One-Page Profile is not a legal document and does not mean a child has ALN. Many schools use them for all learners.
